Good afternoon!
This morning at 5am we opened Mirage’s cage and she was interested in re-finding her liberty but not in a hurry. Around 8am she calmly ate a fish, and a bit later a second half a fish, and at 1pm flew out of the cage. Not too badly, but just to the nearest nest. Later she made a beautiful flight, circling up with some Red Kites, and landed on an electricity pylon with another young one that is perched there. Our team is keeping a constant eye on her and we hope that she will come to feed later this afternoon or tomorrow. But I wanted to tell you now that all is well!
